Dr. Gene Fang was born in Scranton, Pennsylvania and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. In 2001, he graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Molecular Biology. He then followed his passion for General Dentistry and earned the Doctor of Dental Surgery from New York University College of Dentistry in 2005.

Dr. Fang furthered his dental training through General Residency at the Trauma Level 1 Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he later became an active clinical attending/instructor. He was also certified by the North East Regional Board and is a member of the Chinese American Dental Association and the American Society of Forensic Odontology. He values Functional and Cosmetic Dentistry through various Restorative Procedures and Invisalign, and stresses the importance of Patient Education and Preventive Care.

Dr. Fang understands that visiting the dentist may be stressful, so he pays special attention to bringing you an anxiety-free and painless experience in the dental chair. Outside of work, Dr. Fang is an active church deacon and an ironman, and enjoys different endurance sports.
